Minimum health data set
The data a system has to record and exchange, such as the identity of the patient, visits, diagnoses, medications and investigations.
Technical and security requirements
Taken from the national policy for health information governance and the related laws. They cover identity and permissions, protection of data, the rights of the patient, audit and continuity of service.
Exchange standards
Systems connect to the national health record by the international standard HL7 FHIR, following national profiles that are handed over with the package.
